Evacuscape Lifetime Warranty
At Evacuscape, we take pride in providing evacuation chairs that are trusted in critical moments. That’s why we offer a lifetime warranty on the chair frame and lifetime support for all customers, so you can count on your equipment when it matters most.
What’s Covered
Evacuscape provides a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty to the original purchaser for the frame of the evacuation chair. This warranty guarantees the frame is free from manufacturing defects that affect its safe, intended use.
This applies to all Evacuscape evacuation chair models (EC1 and EC2) purchased directly or through authorized distributors.

Expendable Parts: Covered for 2 Years
Certain expendable parts, components subject to routine wear and replacement, are covered under a limited two (2) year warranty. These include:
- Rubber V belt, Vinyl covering for seat back and cover,
- Braking components on EC2
- Rubber wheels and gas strut, and locking pins
After two years, replacement or servicing of these parts becomes the responsibility of the customer.
Warranty Claim Process
To file a warranty claim:
- Claims must be submitted in writing by the original purchaser within 7 days of identifying the issue.
- Evacuscape may request return of the product or part (at the customer’s expense) for evaluation.
- If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, Evacuscape will provide a replacement part or repair at no cost.
- If the defect is not covered, repair or replacement costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
What’s Not Covered
The following are not covered by warranty and will void any existing warranty if applicable:
- Normal wear and tear beyond the 2-year limit on expendable parts
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, vandalism, or accidents
- Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or use of non-approved parts
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function
- Improper storage or failure to follow maintenance guidelines
Important Note
The lifetime warranty applies to the chair frame only. It does not apply to expendable or replaceable components. This distinction is critical for long-term maintenance planning.
